Makala, please tell us about what you do, how you ended up doing this and why you are passionate about your work.

I have been in the industry over 15 years and specialise in providing bespoke trusted advice to Business Owners and Private individuals, predominantly females. Over the years there has been a rapid increased in women owning their own businesses and becoming financial equal to their counterparts in corporate companies. I work with these individuals to provide the best solutions to meet their future financial needs and goals. I have a passion for helping individuals realise their goals and inner potentials and work with them to achieve the outstanding results.

Tell us about your greatest achievement

One of my greatest achievements is waking up everyday and helping females in business and corporate companies achieve their goals regardless how small or great. It is like planting seed and watching them grow into blossoms.

What would your advice be to someone thinking of entering finance as a profession?

I would encourage more people into finance as a profession as the profession offers great benefits as well as satisfaction, knowing you are able to help individuals manage and improve skills they may have little or no knowledge in . But more importantly the work life balance that can be attained overtime. This may be important factor, especially for women with children.

What’s your best financial advice for any woman?

Keep control of your finances, set goals and a plan for you, business and family and be confident in your ability
